Coffee Map Website

Assisting people in exploring cities & discovering new coffee spots

Main page

Brewn was a startup project initiated by a group of coffee enthusiasts with the goal of assisting people in exploring cities, discovering new coffee spots, and fostering a close-knit specialty coffee community. We actively contributed to crafting branding guidelines and developing a prototype platform for future discussions with stakeholders. Our aim was to provide a space where individuals could easily locate coffee shops, write and read reviews and ratings, engage in coffee-related discussions, promote their own businesses, and more.

To establish a coffee-themed atmosphere on the website, we designed a logo resembling a coffee machine with text incorporated. The entire website was centered around satellite photographs of cities, emphasizing that each cup of coffee in every city is its own unique exploration. The color palette primarily featured ochre, beige, and brown tones, further connecting the branding to the coffee theme.

Our main objective was to encourage users to contribute content. For regular users, this meant offering as many incentives as possible to register and leave reviews, fostering a sense of community, and focusing the design on ratings and communication. For businesses, we developed a user-friendly registration process for their brands and locations, allowing them to easily connect and update their information while collecting valuable reviews.

To aid users in navigating countries, cities, locations, specifying their preferences, and more, we created an advanced filtering and search system. Additionally, we designed a café card interface to provide essential information at a glance.
