About the project
We faced an ambitious challenge — to reimagine an outdated cricket match tracking platform and transform it into a modern, high-tech tool. We began with fundamental analysis: studying how users interact with the existing system, identifying pain points in functionality, and uncovering untapped opportunities.
Our primary focus was on creating an intuitive interface that doesn’t just display statistics but makes them truly convenient for analysis. The result is a product that combines powerful analytics with thoughtful UX. This isn’t just an updated version of the old platform — it’s a fundamentally new approach to working with cricket statistics.

With care for our users
At the initial stage, we conducted an in-depth competitor analysis, studied user pain points, and identified key usage scenarios. This helped us determine which functions needed simplification and which required more detailed development. Based on the collected data, we created wireframes, tested them with real users, and only then proceeded to design the final interfaces.
Every decision - from the placement of statistical elements to match navigation - was rigorously tested for usability. We abandoned outdated approaches and redesigned the data visualization system to ensure even complex information could be easily understood. Prior to diving into interface development, we dedicated three intensive months to building a comprehensive design system. Rather than simply adopting Material Design, we reinterpreted its principles through the lens of cricket's unique requirements. Our work began at the foundational level - engineering typography that stays crisp during live score fluctuations, developing a purposeful color system where each shade communicates meaning, and designing adaptive layouts that effortlessly organize complex match data.
The crowning accomplishment was our cricket-specific data visualization framework. These intelligent display solutions maintain perfect clarity whether showing real-time updates or granular historical analysis. Old design
What we needed to rethink
The original platform design created barriers between fans and the game itself. Rather than immersing users in the atmosphere of cricket, the interface distracted with peripheral elements, complicating what should be simple - the ability to follow matches in real time, analyze statistics, and feel the thrill of competition.
We needed to rebuild the platform's architecture so every element served one core purpose: to make cricket interaction intuitive and emotionally engaging. We realized the platform shouldn't be just a data catalog, but a gateway to the world of cricket - where you can instantly see which match is happening now, where score tracking doesn't require navigating through three menu levels, and where player statistics tell the story better than any commentary. The design organizes diverse content through intuitive tabs—from live ball-by-ball commentary to partnership statistics and player-specific betting tips.
Every cricket narrative unfolds here: live updates interleave with expert analysis, where a boundary notification shares space with predictive stats. The interface layers information by priority—critical match events dominate the view, while tabs for pitch conditions or player stats remain one tap away, creating a fluid experience for both casual viewers and betting-focused users.

This screen presents a detailed and structured review of the bookmaker, designed to build user confidence through clear ratings and comprehensive analysis. The layout highlights key aspects such as safety measures, customer support quality, and market coverage, providing users with all essential information at a glance.
Desktop
Adaptation with a priority on mobile experience
While we developed the platform following mobile-first principles—since most users access it via smartphones—we meticulously adapted the interface for desktop as well. The key challenge was preserving the convenience of the mobile experience while smartly utilizing the additional space on larger screens.
Special attention was paid to layout flexibility: on widescreen monitors, content naturally flows into multiple columns, but when the browser window shrinks, the interface smoothly transforms to match the mobile layout. This ensures users enjoy an optimal experience regardless of their device.
