One of the major improvements we made was with the Events page. While working on the Events page, we enhanced both its functionality and visuals, making it more engaging and user-friendly.
We separated and improved the visibility of channels and streaming services on the page so users could better understand who is a partner, what is a channel, and where they can or cannot click. Additionally, we added headlines to clearly distinguish between online content and TV broadcasts.
Below that, we organized contents and data into tabs, including odds, lineups, statistics, table, and info. Statistics show previous results, lineups provide details on the players for each team, and odds inform users about where they can bet on the game.
The table was an important part of the page because it is as informational as it is navigational. Clicking on each of the teams navigates users to the team's page, and by highlighting the teams that are playing, users gain a better understanding of what's happening within the league.
The info section gives users a comprehensive understanding of what's happening and where it is happening, including details about the judge, the arena, and the location of the event.
A very important part of implementing any UI change is creating the UI kit so developers can easily develop and implement the changes. We ensured it was very concise and clear, documenting everything from accent colors and grid layouts to link colors and hover stages. Nothing was left out, making it a comprehensive job that we executed perfectly.
