About us
The project centered on revamping a political website for an organization dedicated to urbanistic initiatives and city improvement. Organization's core mission was to advocate for modern urban development. The existing website had become outdated, with an overemphasis on numeric growth metrics that had served their purpose. Our primary goal was to refocus the website to effectively communicate the organization's work, projects, and successes.
Hero Section
Pressing a button at the top of the page would trigger a pop-up with fillable fields, offering users a convenient and swift way to respond to their actions. An alternative suggested action was to scroll down to access the fillable area.
Old Hero Section
Previously, a significant portion of the page was occupied by a section that outlived its purpose. To address this issue, we decided to elevate useful articles about the organization's actions to the top of the page. News and highlights contribute to building a trustworthy image for the company. Rest assured, we didn't remove any vital information; we simply relocated it to the on-site map, a more suitable location.
New map section
The previous website featured a complex and overly bright map busy with intricate elements aimed at representing the number of people working for the organization in each town. We undertook an update, introducing a unified legend, selecting a reasonable color scheme, and enhancing its functionality.
The form on the page was originally much longer, containing numerous irrelevant questions. Additionally, the website lacked representation of its members. We consolidated these tasks into one, simplifying the process for becoming a member to just five fields that need to be filled out.
